Anchor chain calibration​

The classification societies accepts a diminution of the chain thickness up to 12%. If it is more than that, then those links have to be replaced. We are able to do this inspection during thickness measurements.

Classification Societies normally require the examination and calibration of anchor chains from the second special survey (10 years), defining the acceptable limits of wear prior to renewing concerned chains. We have possibilities to make this kind of inspection during ultrasonic thickness measurements.
